We are so excited to share this beautiful wedding and fun celebration to follow at The Stow House in Goleta, just north of Santa Barbara!

These two were searching for the perfect venue to make their wedding dreams come true in Santa Barbara and ended up finding the stunning Stow House historical landmark as the perfect wedding venue for them! It truly did seem to be a perfect fit for their special day!

Stow House is an amazingly lush property nestled in Goleta, just north of Santa Barbara. They have a perfect outdoor space for any number of guests up to 600 people which should be well suitable for any wedding. Stow House also has various booking timeframes available that range from a sweet + intimate elopement to a full day booking of the property, so it’s really customizable in almost any way that you can imagine as long as you wrap up the day by sunset. It would be a perfect venue for those late summer months that allow for a little extra daylight towards the end of the day.

Now, we know you’re wondering – well, what is the cost for having a wedding at Stow House in Santa Barbara / Goleta. And as surprising as it may be for most of Santa Barbara’s wedding venues ranging from a base-price of $5,000 – 10,000 to just rent the space alone — The Stow House has prices ranging from only $500 for a 2 hour rental, to $2500 for a 6 hour rental, and finally $5000 for the entire day from 8am – sunset! That seems like a really affordable venue space given that you pretty much get the entire space to feel as though you have your own private property nestled amongst the palms. Also, it’s really awesome that they offer the various options of being able to rent the space for a smaller or shorter wedding as well. You do have to of course bring mostly all of your own set-up + rentals, but it’s fun to make a venue your own in that way!

On top of the affordability, the property is absolutely stunning! Stow House has beautifully lined paths with gardens in every direction serving up some absolutely dreamy + versatile backgrounds for your wedding photography throughout the day. It feels like the perfect balance of forested and tropical – which, my goodness, can we talk about the best of both worlds!?! I mean, it’s kind of tough to find a forested venue in Santa Barbara that is still so close to town! We adored photographing this wonderfully sweet wedding at Stow House and are so excited for the next one!

S + M had such a lovely energy throughout their day. It was so amazing to see the two cultures coming together to celebrate them in such a sweet way! With the balance of the Indian wedding traditions and typical weddings that we’re used to, it made for such a beautifully unique day! We loved seeing the different details that they incorporated into their day and the symbols of their relationship. They both had intricate henna artwork done on their arms that had representations of their love and themselves intertwined throughout, which obviously we couldn’t help but get endless details of. It was really lovely to experience such a colorful and vibrant Indian balance throughout the wedding day. It truly is amazing to see two different cultures coming together to celebrate love in such a meaningful way.

The Stow House was such a spectacular venue to photograph at. The endless gardens and natural backgrounds were so pretty to frame these two within. The Stow House itself also makes for a really cool alternative look that kind of gives off those “fairytale cottage tucked away in the forest” vibes. S + M also took the liberty of creating a full blown concert for their guests + loved ones with a live band which is always the right call in our book! It really creates such a fun environment for guests to let loose and really celebrate to the fullest extent. We’re certain that you’ll feel that going through the memories once you come across the bride crowd-surfing amongst their loved ones 😉
