Okay guys, this was one of my favorite sessions ever!
These two lovebirds got married a year ago in Ojai at the Ojai Retreat, which is just an absolutely stunning location. There are meadows that surround the property, bungalows for your guests, and a unbelievable view of the Ojai Valley below where the sunset dips over the mountains. Their special day was just simply one for the books, I mean everything about it was just magical. Honestly, it was one of those weddings where they invited me to stay and enjoy the party with them and one of the only ones I actually would have! It was that amazing.
Anyways, Kyla called me and asked if I would be interested in doing a session for their 1st anniversary. And I said – I would absolutely LOVE to!!! But, get this – she wanted to surprise Austin with the session at the exact place that they said “I do” 1 year prior. How friggin adorable is that? I was just filled with excitement. (I am a huge fan of surprises, I don’t know why, but they just make me so excited to be able to capture these uncontrived special moments for people) Austin indeed was surprised and after we caught up, shared some laughs and smiles – we wandered around the property, capturing some absolutely magical moments together. What a way to celebrate your love together. Even looking back through them just brings a big cheesy smile to my face, I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do. 🙂
